Jan 2018
4 January 2018 The January edition of VICENZAORO, Europe's most important event for jewellery, organized by Italian Exhibition Group, just closed.
An edition characterized by excellent results, starting from a 10% increase in the number of buyers compared to 2017 coming from over 130 different countries and an overall total of more than 36,000 visitors over the days of the Show.
Italy's reprisal was also considerable with a 10% growth in the number of buyers to proclaim the market's recovery after two years below par.
The European event of reference dedicated to gold and jewellery saw over 1,500 brands as the star players and was the first in the year on the global trade show calendar. An indispensable event and important showcase for previewing the exhibiting companies' new collections.
VOJ 2018 celebrated the Jewellery Oscars, attributed during the Andrea Palladio International Jewellery Awards evening, and offered the chance to look at tomorrow's luxury and jewellery world. In fact, the central theme of the Show was the Future, with a splendid opening event, the VISIO.NEXT Summit®, which focused on brand enhancement, new distribution channels and the role of the latest generation consumer.
VICENZAORO January 2018 confirmed its winning organizational strategy, powerful in terms of its vast offer of content, including digital, and aimed at accompanying sector players through enormous ongoing changes, from sustainability to intelligent industry, traceability and, for the new communication and distribution models, omni-channelling.
Extraordinary results also for T.GOLD, the international jewellery technology Show, which recorded +16% in the number of buyers and a significant growth in exhibitors, which registered 20% more than the previous year. An authentic HUB of innovation, from which, at each edition, new process and product opportunities arise for the global jewellery industry, from 3D printing to updates on technologies and cutting edge researches.
