Rainbow, fireworks, crayons and flowering meadows: most of the things in which many nuances of colour meet one another express pure joie de vivre and spark feelings of happiness that are both spontaneous and long lasting. This positive effect can also be felt when we behold the latest pieces of jewellery: sometimes it’s the many little citrines, amethysts and topazes that swing cheerfully below the ears; sometimes the enthusiasm is kindled by a large number of variously coloured sapphires arranged closely side by side in a bracelet. In addition to these, colourful little handmade wristlets and metal chains with creative gradations of colour are “musts” this season.
1. The new “Essential Color Collection” from Picchiotti celebrates high-quality gemstones in vivid colours. The new lines feature a total of ten designs, including a ring with a green cushion-cut tourmaline flanked by two untreated amethysts.
